Action Systems after Pisces Full Moon Waning Cycle: #physiqueFriday #FridayFreebie

This is part 1 of my series on action timed with cosmic energies.

The key to getting things done in an organized fashion is planning. The key to keep going 'when the going gets rough' is both momentum and a rewards-penalties system. This especially applies to improving your health with a healthier diet and more exercise. The going has *definitely* been getting rough: times haven't been much more rough than in recent US history, with covid highlighting our health, and with obesity being a covid risk factor, many of us *should* use proven systems of action to lose weight to help us get healthier. Now is a GREAT time to do so, because the waning energy after the Pisces Full Moon can set us up for success:

Set up action systems during the waning energy after the recent Pisces Full Moon.

The late, great, celebrated* (*for being the winning-est in the women's NCAA league) coach of the Tennessee Lady Volunteers basketball team "Pat" (Patricia) Summit said:

"Setting up a system that rewards you for meeting your goals and has penalties for failing to hit your target is just as important as putting your goals down on paper."*

The above quote, by one of the most-winning coaches in late 20th century NCAA teams—in a league that was not taken very seriously, and thus had to build from the ground up—was very indicative of Pat' Summits straight-forward method of training. Growing up on a dairy farm—which requires constant, consistent hard work with no days off—her dad used to say no one worked harder than her. She applied her simple formula for success to training women how to get in shape and win:

  • Put goals down on paper
  • Set up a system that has rewards for meeting goals
  • In that system, also have penalties for failing to hit targets

This *action* system works well with "SMART" goal-setting, which will be covered in another post in this series.

Now is a great time to harness this action system, especially for losing weight, towards getting healthier. The waning of our weight works well when matched with the cycle of the waning moon, especially after a great Full Moon to up the waning energy, like Pisces, the waning-est (last) sign in the Zodiac.

Full Moon in Pisces is a great energy to lose weight because of connections with:

  • emotions
  • illusions
  • release
  • closing energy
  • autumnal energy
  • 2020 elections

Pisces—the final zodiac sign in the cycle—is ruled by Neptune—of the Sea. This watery connection corresponds to emotions, the flow of emotions. So...the Full Moon in Pisces is a great time to deal with emotional baggage; in fact, many call it the "#LetItGo" sign. Pisces is also associated with dreams and illusions, fantasies versus reality; it's a great time to connect with your inspiration, your deepest desires, and confront and winnow out things that do not serve you. Cutting the chaff, and the illusions supported by the feelings we build around them can be a great release, and the Full Moon in Pisces is the kickoff to that. One can continue to disentangle this for the rest of waning cycle.

Waning energy is a great time to manifest and release those things that you need to release, and embody more healthful choices; almost everyone's diet, and many exercise routines, can be improved, or at least tweaked. If you're not careful with other aspects of your health, such as dietary cholesterol, sugar, salt, prescriptions, dental health, mental health, meditation and mindfulness, hydration and sleep. The waning moon is a time to assess how the intention you may have set at the previous New Moon is working out and to do the work of harvesting what you've sown. It's the ending of the cycle, pivoting toward the Dark and/or New Moon, from the Full Moon apex.

The Full Moon is the pivot between the waxing and waning cycles; I usually celebrate & commemorate it for 3 days:

  1. it marks the the ending of the waxing cycle (which was about 2 weeks),
  2. the pivot of complete Fullness, with the energy of whatever sign (in this case Pisces), and
  3. the beginning of the waning cycle (also about 2 weeks), which is ended on the new moon, which next occurs, as of this writing, on Sept 17, 2020, at 7:00 AM EDT, in Virgo (& the *sun* has been in Virgo since Aug.

Feel the closing energy. The cycle of the year approaches #Autumn, it's the end of the lunar Cycle, in the last sign in the astrological cycle. In the US, the upcoming election marks the end of elected officials' terms. Focus on strong clear endings and healing. #BlessedBe    )O(
